Spit Happens, Week 06

Spit Happens, Week 06

Hi, how are you? I hope you're doing well! It was a crazy week last week, and it feels like a lifetime ago. But, here are some things that I loved this week (even though it wasn't a lot!)

Reading the Transcendent Kingdom has been a joy. The first official Knit and Lit book/yarn club is underway! Follow my friends at isbn there done that for more about the book clubs.

Speaking of book clubs, I finished my second sock! knitting up the March Knit and Lit colorway was so fun! You can purchase your sock set as a preorder here. Sock pattern is by Summer Lee Knits.

Years and years ago, if you were to ask me what I loved to do.. I would first say knitting (of course) but then I would say that I'm a runner. I was committed to waking up before the sun and watching it rise while I finished off my morning training. Unfortunately, I got injured and one thing led to another and I wasn't running at all, for a long time. I decided to change that, and have been taking a running class through my local running shoe company (Salt Lake Running Company). It's kickstarting my motivation again, and I can't wait to get back to the excitement of running a race in the future! If you're a runner, or someone who wants to start, I'd love to connect with you! It's always good to have a running partner, even if it's virtual!

This is all I have for now, I hope you enjoy this coming week and I hope to have some other good things to share next Sunday!
